Today is the day!

Today we leave for CHICAGOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Not that we’re excited or anything! 
We’re biking around Chicago, playing a little tennis, eating some sushi, doing some kayaking along the river, eating out somewhere special for CJ’s birthday (I don’t know where yet), watching a bike race around Chicago, and–I apologize ahead of time Cards fans–maybe going to a Cubs game. Now…of course we’re not going to be supporting the Cubs if we do! We’ll cheer on the other team all the way, but it would be cool to see a game in Wrigley Field, so please forgive us for stepping foot on “unholy ground” when the Cards aren’t in town! 
We’ll post pictures when we return! See you then!

I almost forgot…a couple weeks ago we ate at Kampai Sushi in Central West End area…it was really good. If you love spicy food…or better yet…spicy sushi…this is THE PLACE. I have never felt so much fire in my mouth than that night. Stay away from those super spicy seeds they sneak into (or on top of apparently) some of the rolls…if you don’t like spicy that is. Definitely a great place to try out! It’s on West Pine near a parking garage for Quest Diagnostics if you want to try it out! Definitely a great place!

OK, well I don’t love Mr Sushi, that’s just the name of the place. We ate there this last weekend and had a pleasurable experience. We had the our always fav Fried Philidelphia roll, the yummy roll, and the anything goes in it roll. The Philli roll had to be one of my favorites or just maybe tasted that way cause we havn’t had sushi in like 3 weeks. The yummy roll was also fried with a little crab it it. It was good, but not great. The anything goes roll turned out to be just ordinary, if I had to guess what was in it- Crap, I mean crab. The food was prob a 4, the atmosphere a 3, the prices 2 high, but overall a 3. We will go back there again? If we are driving by it, yes. But, not go out of our way.
