Today is the day!

Today we leave for CHICAGOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Not that we’re excited or anything! 
We’re biking around Chicago, playing a little tennis, eating some sushi, doing some kayaking along the river, eating out somewhere special for CJ’s birthday (I don’t know where yet), watching a bike race around Chicago, and–I apologize ahead of time Cards fans–maybe going to a Cubs game. Now…of course we’re not going to be supporting the Cubs if we do! We’ll cheer on the other team all the way, but it would be cool to see a game in Wrigley Field, so please forgive us for stepping foot on “unholy ground” when the Cards aren’t in town!

3 weeks away and we are packing up the bikes and going to Chicago!!
I can’t wait, it should be fun and a cheap way to tour around and see Chicago.
Concerts at Grant park on Friday
Venetian night on Saturday
I am also taking my gf to a very nice place in Chicago Saturday night for Dinner…ok, maybe it’s for my Birthday, but heck…you’ll have to come back and see where she took me. (or me took her)
Then maybe a Cubs game on Sunday…

We seem to have a pattern going…every trip we take we begin planning our next one. Last July we planned our trip to Florida. While we were in Florida, we began discussing our Colorado Road/Camping Trip. And…yes, while in Colorado…we started discussing our next trip. We are thinking next year sometime of doing a big trip down the East Coast through MD, the Carolinas, Virginia…etc. So if you see this and have any suggestions of where to go or what to do along the East Coast, leave us a message and let us know.
